What I'm Loving Wednesday

After a week off, I'm back with Jamie for a little love.

I'm loving that my sister called me this morning to tell me that a friend of my Mom's family shoe store closed down so she brought over a bunch of shoes for us to go through to see if we want them or not, um duh! :)

I'm loving that I was on a vacation from work. Naturally you'd think this would be an amazingly stressful week back, but it's just like any other week. For that, I am thankful.

I'm loving this adorable keychain that my sister sent me today. I want to get my nephews birthdate on it.

I'm loving that my motivation to workout has arrived. After work, I'm doing any kind of workout. My FREE workout plan said just doing 10 minutes will be a lot for me since I'm new to it.  I was thinking of doing 20 minutes on the treadmill (that is A LOT for me) and then an ab workout from the tv. Thoughts?

I'm loving the cold front that just arrived. My feet are super comfortable in my high boots :)

I'm loving this cute list of 23 adult truths. I can agree with many of them!

I'm loving that Teen Mom started again last night. I didn't get to watch it last night, but it's on the agenda for when I get home. You know, right after I work out.

I'm loving my full calendar in the month of December. Bring on the ugly sweater and Christmas parties!

The P.I.N.K. Method

OK Ladies- I need some help!

I have never been a person that cared about their weight because, luckily, I never had to. I was blessed with an extremely fast metabolism. Well fast forward to my mid 20's, it's just not burning off the fat the way I'd like it too.

For the past few weeks, I have been extremely depressed with my weight. Ideally, I would like to lose 10-15 pounds over the next few months, but I'm not exactly sure how to do that.

This brings me to my topic. Has anyone heard of the P.I.N.K. Method? Apparently, it is a new diet program that is designed for women.

The package includes:
*Nutrition Guide
*3 workout DVDs, each featuring 3 workout
routines + Bonus DVD
* PINK Method Certificate
*PINK bracelet for daily motivation

Question is.. Do you really need to spend the $80 on this type of system. It provides little detail on the food you will be required to eat.

Let me just say, I do think a plan would be the best for me. I don't have a gym membership and I lack motivation to go tanning, you think getting my butt up to go to the gym will be easier, DOUBTFUL. So, I like the idea of having DVD's.  Did I mention that I get winded by walking from my car to my apartment? I need to start off slow and work my way up.

A meal plan is what I need, but I don't know what to do for my body type. Dieting will be the hardest part of all. I wish someone could make me a plan that isn't completely limited. I can't help it, I eat like I weigh 700 pounds.

Coincidence that my new obsession with losing weight comes on the same day as the Victoria Secret Fashion Show airs? I think not. I need all the motivation I can get and seeing these ladies tonight will definitely get me on track.

Any suggestions on meal plans, home workouts?

Maybe even a cleanse? I'm new to all of this so anything you have information you would like to share, I'd love to hear it. I'm willing to try ANYTHING!

SO grateful for everything

I feel that I have been extremely MIA lately. Most people have, It's the holidays. Personally, I haven't really sat in front of a computer for longer than a few minutes since I last worked on Tuesday.

Last weekend we met up with some friends at Old Town. They were attempting to do something different. If you are not familiar with this place, it is basically an outdoor shopping plaza with restaurants, rides, shops, bars, and LOTS of old fashioned cars. After about 4 or 5 drinks, something different turned into a lot of fun.

We had our pot luck at work on Tuesday for Thanksgiving. My plate was full!

Thanksgiving was filled with lots of family, friends and food.  We started the day at 11 at my Grandma's house for the first Thanksgiving of the day then left there and drove 2 hours to Sebring to my Mema's house for yet another dinner. My sister and I spent the 2-hour drive back listening to throw back music.

I was full, happy, and grateful.

My Mema & her feast :)

My Landyn <3

That night we went out with a few friends to the neighborhood bar, I had a few too many Vodkas and H2o's. Thankfully, I didn't have much to do that Friday. Since my boyfriend had to work, I ordered Bonefish take-out and rented Crazy Stupid Love and had a relaxing night in, I needed to save all my energy for Saturday's festivities.

Saturday was the 29th annual Margarita Ball, It's a nationwide charity that is held for donating toys to less fortunate children for the holidays.  Every person that attends brings a gift for a child. It's a formal affair that is best described as adult prom. You get to get all dolled up, dance all night and indulge in as many margaritas and wine as you'd like. Of course, I chose to stick to vodka water. I say no to anything sweet, no one likes a hangover!

My Aunt and Uncle go every year so they are pros at the best way to spend the day. The ball is held at the gorgeous Omni Resort at Championsgate.

We got a cabana by the pool for the day. We just relaxed, drank, listened to music and got pumped for the night ahead.

This year my friend Steph joined us and we had an absolute blast.
My sister and I
My sister, aunt & uncle

The group before heading downstairs!

The gifts we brought...

Only one of the piles of all the presents donated.

Another pile of presents...

Not even half of the donated bikes!

The only thing better than seeing all those donated toys would be seeing the children's face when they opened them Christmas morning.

All-in-all it was a great day/night. Did I mention that my Noles pulled out another win, against the Gators? What a great ending to a perfect day :)

Maggie over at Glitz n Grammar gave me with the Liebstar Award. Of course, I feel completely unworthy but it is so nice to see that someone is actually enjoying my rambles. So, again, thank you Maggie!

Breaking Dawn

I had planned to write a long updating blog post tonight, but my eye lids had other ideas in mind.

I definitely want to give a huge THANK YOU to Maggie for the sweet award she gave me. I promise to pay it forward just as soon as I catch up on my zzZZ's :)

This quick post will just be a quick update on my opinion of Breaking Dawn. Although I didn't go see it on Thursday night, I did finally go on Sunday, and then again tonight :)

I thought it was INCREDIBLE. I loved how they stuck to the book so perfectly. In my opinion, it was seriously the best one yet. Without a doubt. \

Playing the music from the first movie definitely helped evoke all those feelings back in me from when I first fell in love with the books and then the first movie.  I don't think they could have done it better.

I'm off work until next Tuesday. Perks of having the best job, ever ;)

Bridesmaid dress shopping tomorrow with Kate. I hope we can find the perfect dresses for us girls. One step closer to having everything checked off her long list of wedding to do's!

Toodles!

Fill in the Blank Friday

 1. A nervous habit I have is stepping from side to side. I have ADD as it is, but when I'm nervous, I do NOT stand still.

2.   Something that makes me sad is  that I just found out a woman from Orlando turned up missing yesterday. Here is the flyer in case anyone happens to see anything suspicious.

3.  Today I am thankful for my nephew, SHOCKER? I think not. He can do no wrong in my book and just has a way of making me happy by just thinking about him.

4. My favorite room in my house is without a doubt, my living room. Especially now that I have my Christmas decorations up.

5.  I can't stand terrible drivers, inconsiderate people, people with no common sense, and people that just don't 'get it.' If you 'get it' then you know exactly what I'm talking about.

6.  If I had an extra $100 to spend on whatever I wanted today I would probably start my Christmas shopping or go to dinner. I'm a fat kid at heart, that is for certain.

7.  The last person I hung out with was Kate. We had a good laugh today about this ecard.

Cracks me up!

Happy Friday to all :)

It's Ok Thursday!

It's OK..

that I'm 25 and excited about seeing Breaking Dawn. Honestly, I'm more upset that I haven't already bought my tickets. My friend and I are still contemplating going tonight. Personally, I think being exhausted all day at work tomorrow is a small price to pay for seeing Mr. Cullen tonight.

It's ok.. that I made this back when the first Twilight movie came out.

I may or may not have dressed up as Edward Cullen's bride for the New Moon premiere. In my defense, that was 2 years ago! Now it is no secret how obsessed I am was.

It's ok...

that I didn't go get Essie Marshmallow last night as planned. I settled for Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear Gray Area. Honestly, this is one of my favorite brands of nail polish. Not too thin, not too thick.

Sorry, it's a tad bit on the blurry side. They also look a little darker in pictures. I think it's a perfect dark color for fall :)

It's ok that I had a breakfast burrito for a marketplace right near my office and I have felt sick ever since. Breakfast foods and I do not mix. Generally, I stick with Peanut Butter toast (I know, how old am I?) or chocolate glazed doughnuts.

It's ok that I still haven't uploaded pictures from this weekend. I need to get with it.

It's ok that my boyfriend and I are both dying to buy a house. We started looking around a little. Come to find out, we don't agree on ANYTHING.  I want a screened in pool, he wants a pool without a screen. I want Stainless Steel appliances, he wants white or black (white, seriously?) I mean I know I'm supposed to get my way. I'm a girl, we care more about these things, but he is not as easy to convince.

That is all for now!

Thanks for stopping by :)

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'll have an update of my no plans weekend that turned into a ton of fun, combined with lots of alcohol later :)

I'm loving that we had book club last night and it was a huge success! Wine, fruit, cheese, bruschetta, crackers, spinach dip, and lots of discussion.  Our next book is by Jodi, yet again. No complaints here, she is one of my favorite authors. I'm not sure what it is about yet, reading the back is a no-no for me, but I'm sure it will be splendid.

My friend, Steph, being super classy with ice in her wine ;)

I'm absolutely loving Essie- Marshmallow :)

I'm loving these pictures found on Pinterest. They had me crying yesterday.

This last one realistically could have been my invention. When we shop with my nephew, it is near impossible to try on clothes unless we take turns.

I'm loving that I get to watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills tonight without any interruptions.

I'm loving my gorgeous nephew. We got to spend the entire day on Monday together and I loved every second it. He melts my heart every time I think about him.

I'm loving that I completely decorated my apartment for Christmas, while simultaneously listening to Christmas music. The Grinch is definitely not one of my ancestors.

I'm loving that I actually did a few DIY Christmas crafts that I found on Pinterest. Pictures soon to follow.

I'm loving that I was just reminded that Thanksgiving is next week. For some reason, I was thinking we still had another work week to go.

Adding to that love, is the fact that we get Wednesday, Thursday & Friday off, including the following Monday.

What are you loving today?
