All Hallow's Eve

Another weekend has come and gone.

I spent my weekend tending to my sister's broken heart, only to have it be put back together again before the weekend was over

Friday night we went to one of my girlfriends house and played Clue. Many years have passed since I last played that game so let's just say I was a little rusty.

Saturday we went tailgating at my Alma Mater. We opted out of going to the game so we 'watched' it at a bar close by. Let's be honest, it was a group of girls, we spent the majority of the time chatting.

My plan was to hit up a two Halloween parties that night but I was pretty worn out from the days festivities that I almost missed both. My sister decided she wanted to go around 11 so we got ready quickly, swapped past costumes and made an appearance at a friends party. We spent the night playing beer pong, flip cup & drink while you think (my favorite). I'm glad we went.

Today we went to the pumpkin patch with my little sweet pea. They were just about out of pumpkins so we had to settle on a mini one with no carving potential.

My sweet boyfriend is taking me to the outlets tomorrow to do a little shopping. Here is my inspiration for my trip.

I'm just loving the pops of color. I just can't help that i'm obsessing over any accessory in teal or coral.

Hopefully I can snag myself a wrapped watch, like this one here

Trick or treating tomorrow. Can you believe it, I STILL don't have a costume. No worries though, I just want to see my nephew all dressed up!

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend :)

It's Ok Thursday

Link up time with Amber and Neely

It's ok that I did two link ups in a row ;)

It's OK that there is still one day in the work week. I actually enjoy my job & that isn't something everyone can say. I'm thankful for that.

It's ok that my nails have been going commando for days. (Not really, must change)

It's ok that I got my hair done two weeks ago and it looks like it hasn't been done in months. Not quite sure what is going on with that!

It's ok that I woke up late and I look somewhat like a bum today.

It's ok that I don't have a cute little girl to dress up and take a picture like this with. I just adore this picture.

It's ok that I packed two main courses for my lunch today. It's Thursday, I deserve a treat? :)

It's ok that I put myself on a budget and i'm determined to actually follow it this time.

It's ok that I don't have all of the outfits in my style pinboard on Pinterest-- for now.

It's ok that my boyfriend has to work the entire weekend so I will be doing my Halloween party rounds solo. Couple costumes are out of the running for this year. That doesn't mean that I can't keep an eye out for ideas for next year :)

It's ok that I spent my night watching the Real World. Yes, I still watch every season and look forward to the challenges. I heart CT!

Everything is OK today!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Thanks for another great link up Jamie

I'm loving that Halloween is on Monday and I have a few great parties to go to. Note to self: Must find costumes!

I'm loving that there is a UCF home game on Saturday & i'm going tailgating with one of my fabulous girlfriends. This is us at one of last years game.

I'm loving that today is Wednesday & there are only two days left in the work week.

I'm loving that I no longer have a second job. My nights and weekends are all mine. Deep down I knew how great it would feel to be able to say that, but it feels better than I ever could have imagined.

I'm loving that one our friends just gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl and I got to meet her today. She is gorgeous!

I'm loving that I finally started blogging. I told one of my friends that I wouldn't know what to talk about if I started blogging because my thoughts are always all over the place. I talk about random things all the time. She said 'That is exactly why you should blog.' So thank you to her :)

I'm loving these home decor ideas from Pinterest

LOVE this Tiffany blue office

Please note the tray ceilings, they make such a difference. I must have those in my future home.

Have a great week everyone :)

Patiently waiting.. or not?

When is it too soon to start playing Christmas music? Because I'm dying to start, NOW!

My favorites include the songs from these 3 CD's.

& of course all the usual Christmas Carols. I can listen to them for 3 months straight.

I'm so ready to decorate

Some ideas via Pinterest

Well, it's only almost Halloween and I have no idea what I'll be dressing up as. So I guess I should start with that. I'm hoping for a neat idea that is a DIY type thing.

Any ideas, send them my way!

All good things

…must come to an end.

I’m referring to my weekend. Unlike most weekends, this one did not seem to go so quickly.

My boyfriend and I kicked off the weekend by going to a delicious dinner on a lake. The views were astonishing.

See for yourself

I went with red wine since it was a tad on the chilly side.

,After dinner we hit up the St. Mary Magdalen Festival. Tons of games, rides, cotton candy, etc.. We stayed close to the beer garden and tried our luck in Bingo. We did not do so hot but we had fun none-the-less.

I spent the day Saturday working and then my mom, sis, nephew and boyfriend picked me up for a 2 hour trip for my grandparents 60th anniversary dinner. 60 years is a long time and definitely calls for a celebration. My Papa has had Parkinson's for a few years and was just recently diagnosed with dementia as well.

Tomorrow is not promised so i'm very happy that I got to share that special time with them. We all went around the table to say things we remembered throughout the years. It was sweet.

After dinner we headed back to Orlando for a night on the town with some friends.

At the end of the night it's tradition to get pickle shots.

A shot of Jameson, immediately followed by a shot of pickle juice and a dash of hot sauce
Trust me, I could NEVER take Jameson but the pickle juice is all you taste and I love pickles! :)

Round 1

After round 2 :)

Surprisingly we felt fine on Sunday and spent the day watching football, playing corn hole & eating a delicious BBQ

When we got home we decided to end the night by bringing the mattress out of our spare bedroom and put it in the living room. We rented horrible bosses (hilarious), had Shrimp Alfredo for dinner and brownies for dessert. My boyfriend is obsessed with anything sweet so I usually cook dinner and he whips up the dessert.

He was my model for the pictures this weekend :)

Today was my Mom's birthday so I took her to lunch at Chili's. She was craving one of their frozen margaritas so it worked out for me! We took my nephew to 2 playgrounds and then had dinner at my mom's to end the night.

He loved dipping his chips in the salsa on his own, nevermind that his whole fist would go in. He is too cute!

Now i'm watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills before heading off to bed and tackling another week of work.

Another successful weekend in the books :)

It's Okay Thursday!

Link up time with Miss. Neely

It's OK..

That I haven't washed my hair since Monday-- In my defense, I wasn't allowed to wash it until this morning, due to my blowout, but I most certainly was not waking up extra early for that.

To spend hours on Pinterest and then hardly ever attempt to recreate the DIY projects that I so desperately want to do.

That my computer just didn't recognize Pinterest as a word-- hmm, slackin'.

That I will be wearing sweaters and boots in Florida, even though it's only in the 70's.

That i'm not going to be going to the bridesmaid dress pick out for my friends wedding because I have to work Saturday.

That I ate a buffalo chicken sandwich and fries for lunch when I pinky promised myself I would start eating better yesterday...

& that I want the exact same thing for dinner. YIKES!

That I don't have my halloween costume yet and it is next weekend. I think I need a total of 3 costumes. No bueno.

That I haven't worked at my other jobs in two weeks.

That i'm not full-time at Izea yet. I know it will come sooner rather than later. I just wish sooner was, well, sooner.

To not be exactly where I want to be in life.

That fall television is coming to an end when it feels like it just got started.

Everything will all be okay in the end. If it's not okay, then it's not the end.

There is always time for shopping

Online shopping is such a gift, yet sometimes so frustrating.

I can always find a million outfits I love while surfing the web. Once I get my package though, nothing fits me correctly.

Do I ever learn my lesson? Of course not! I'm a girl who loves shopping but is always on the go. I can't help it, I will never give up on convenience.

My friend/co-worker/desk neighbor Kate showed me this website yesterday and they are having a HUGE sale. Like, one I can't bring myself to pass up.

Say hello to asos

Would you believe it if I told you that all of these dresses are under $40, most under $30?

This one is a bit special and it can be yours (or mine) for only $41. MUST have.

Oh boot season, how I have missed you so.

I'll be sporting part of my boot collection for the better part of a week. If i'm lucky enough for this cold front to last longer than just this weekend, I would be one thankful girl.

Here is the playlist that will be on repeat for my work day :)
