Call Me Maybe

I'm SO obsessed with this video.

Yes, I'm aware that the people in it are children compared to myself, but I can't help but have so much fun when watching it.

Way better than the actual video for this song.

I mean, what were they thinking?

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Join us over at Jamie's blog for What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving that we are going to Olive Garden on our lunch break today. I've been craving their soup and breadsticks for far too long!

This little treat looks tasty, too!

I'm loving that I'm going to St. Augustine this weekend to visit family and celebrate Easter there.

I'm loving that I'm taking my GRE on April 26th. I know it sounds horrible but I'm pretty sure I'm going to do terrible. I started looking over some stuff and it's just not stuff that I feel like I'm going to be able to master in a few short weeks. To be honest, I know I'm not going to dedicate enough time as I should to it, but hopefully I surprise myself. I either get in or I don't. Not stressing.

I'm loving that I signed all my paperwork yesterday to make it official.
I'm loving that this Friday will be my first paid holiday off at work :)

I'm loving that we have decided that we're going to New Orleans from June 1-4. May & June are going to be busy months for me - without a doubt!

I'm loving that with a few accessories these dresses could be adorbs!

I'm loving this top that Emily Maynard is wearing for her promo photos. Let's face it, I'm loving e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g about Emily. Only a few more weeks until her premiere. She deserves happiness.

Well that's what I'm loving this week. What are YOU loving?

Help Find Us!

I'm not sure if I have expressed my passion for looking into missing persons cases, particularly children. But, I decided to start dedicated a post to that very subject every once in awhile. It truly breaks my heart to think of what these people have endured and what their families must be going through.

Here are just a few of the many people that are currently missing.

1.) Jennifer Kesse

She went missing on January 24, 2006 from my hometown Orlando, FL. From what the evidence shows, she simply vanished after getting ready for work in the morning. Her car was gone but was captured on a surveillance camera being dropped off in a neighboring apartment complex the same day she went missing.

These are the only two photos that the surveillance camera captured.

BOTH of them are covering, what I believe to be, the perpetrators face. Lucky break for him, but so unfortunate for everyone searching for her. There are no leads in the case and it's been six long years since her family has heard her voice.

2.) Sierra Lamar

This gorgeous high school student was last seen leaving for the bus stop near her California home on March 16 at 7:15AM. Unfortunately, her mother didn't report her missing until 5PM after the school emailed her to let her know that Sierra hadn't shown up that day.
One day after her disappearance, police found her phone a mile from her house and 2-days after, they found her purse with her clothes folded neatly inside. A few days ago they found a box of handcuffs and used condoms near where she was last seen, but, at this time, they are unsure if it is in anyway related to the case.

3.) Haleigh Cummings

According to her father's girlfriend, Missy Croslin, 5-year old Haleigh disappeared in the middle of the night from her home on February 10, 2009 in Satsuma, Florida. Haleigh's father's girlfriend turned wife during the investigation has given conflicting stories about what happened that night, so it's hard to trust anything she says. Croslin's grandmother says that Croslin confided in her that they tied Haleigh up with a yellow rope and a brick block and dropped her into the St. John's River.

Unfortunately, I believe that Haleigh is no longer with us but she deserves to be found and laid to rest properly and her killers deserve to be punished.

If you have any information regarding the disappearances of these people, please call the crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.

If that was an extremely upsetting post, I apologize. I just feel like touching on this subject every once in awhile and getting these stories out to as many people as possible is extremely important in finding missing people.

It's OK Thursday!

It's OK Thursdays with Amber and Neely.

It's OK...

.. that I was part time for far longer than I wanted to be, because I'm now officially a
FULL TIME
employee at, what I believe is the greatest company in the world :)

I found out the amazing news towards the end of my review, so approximately at 1:45 yesterday. There were tears, hugs, congratulatory emails, people that stop by my desk to congratulate me, and the CEO came over to give me a high five while wearing a bathing suit (FYI: he had a shirt on as well). I don't think it can get more official than that.

I'm just so extremely grateful to be part of such an amazing company. The environment in which we work is unlike any other and if that doesn't make it amazing enough, the people are just incredible. All I know is it was worth the wait!

Last night when I got home I had these pretty things waiting for me
We headed to Bonefish for dinner. Nothing like bang bang shrimp to celebrate :)

It's OK..

..that the wait was 50 minutes so we grabbed a high top in the bar area. We waited 22 minutes for someone to come greet us. 22 MINUTES! Not only did it take her that long to come over but she didn't apologize for the wait. I was appalled. At that point, I just wanted to get my bang bang and leave. Being in the service industry for some many years, I feel like I have sympathy for servers, but that was just ridiculous. We got an app and a few drinks and hit the road.

From there we met up with a couple of friends that helped me celebrate! Justin suggested Irish Car Bombs. I hadn't had one in well over 3-years so it was an interesting choice but of course delicious :)

It's OK..

.. that I'm about to spend a massive amount online today at Tobi. I've got to have my shopping spree celebration, too ;)

.. that I'm going out for dinner and drinks tonight for the 4th time in a row. Sista needs to catch up on her shows, cleaning and sleep. Not to mention I'm sure my liver could use a break!

Today EVERYTHING is OK.. I'm on cloud 9 :)

If you can dream it, you can achieve it!

Thursday-- I went to see the midnight showing of The Hunger Games and I absolutely LOVED it. I loved how they didn't deviate from the book hardly at all. I would definitely recommend both the book and the movie to anyone who is considering checking them out!

Friday -- I left work at 3 and we went to the Bay Hill Invitational. Tiger walked right next to me and I got to watch him play. Being that it was my first golf tournament, I thought it was pretty neat!
Tiger on the 18th hole :)

Saturday -- it was my cousin's baby shower, she is having TWINS (boy & girl)! I can't decide if I'm jealous or I feel bad for her ;) Anyhoo, my sister and I decided late Friday night that we should make her a diaper cake. So that's what I did that night, my sister stayed for moral support.

My little cousin showcasing our toilet papered diaper we made in under 3-minutes. Our team won :) It may or may not have had something to do with the fact that I drew poop on the back and wrote Pampers on the front ;) They thought it was a great touch!

The winning team :) My Cousin, Aunt & I!

Sunday -- as per usual, it was a soccer day. After practice I found some time to study for the GRE, go me!

Monday -- my Mom & I took the little man to the happiest place on Earth, DISNEY WORLD! Honestly, I don't know who was more excited to see all the characters, Landyn or myself,  but we had a blast! We used to go ALL the time, like at least once a month, but I hadn't been in a few years so to say I was excited is an understatement.

Landyn's first Disney ride ever was It's a Small World. I thought it was pretty fitting because it was my favorite when I was little and it was the song that played in my crib!
Waiting in line for Dumbo :)
 Cinderella show -- MY FAV!
Waiting for the parade to come!
 Love me some Cinderella
Landyn loves both Mickey & Minnie!
Mickey Ice Cream
The Ferry back to our car. He kept repeating "I want boat"

After dropping the little monster off, I quickly changed and went to The Wine Room on Park Ave with my favorite friend from college :) We hopped around Park Ave to a few different bars and I didn't get to bed until past 1. Let's just say it wasn't easy to wake up yesterday!
When I dragged myself into work, Kate reminded me that we had a girls dinner that night. It had completely slipped my mind. We went to Stonewood Grill & Tavern and had some delicious food & drinks!

Well that was my weekend. I hope you wonderful ladies had just as much fun as I did :)
