Help Find Us!

1.) Michelle Parker
The 33-year old mother of 3 young children disappeared from Orlando, FL on November 17, 2011 the same day she appeared on 'The People's Court' with her ex-fiance, Dale Smith, Jr. The last place she was seen was dropping off her 3-year old twins to her Smith's home at around 3:30PM that day. Her car was found abandon a few days later with all of the bumper stickers removed. A month after her disappearance her phone was found by a dive team in Lake Conway. To date, Dale Smith, Jr. is the prime suspect in the case.

2.) Lisa Irwin
On October 3, 2011 10-month old baby Lisa was abducted from her Kansas City home while she slept, according to her mother. After a night of drinking, her mother explained that she couldn't remember if she had checked on Lisa that fateful night. Both cell phones that were in the house were taken when baby Lisa disappeared. There were also two separate reports of a mystery man on foot around 1AM holding a baby that was only wearing a t-shirt. Could this man be involved in her disappearance?

3.) Lauren Spierer
This young college student was last seen on a surveillance camera leaving a friends apartment on June 3, 2011 at 4:30 AM. After a night out drinking with some friends, Lauren was seen walking back to her apartment barefoot at the intersection of College Avenue and 11th street in Bloomington, Indiana. A person of interest in the case is her friend, Corey Rossman who says that Lauren helped him back to his apartment after he was punched in the face and suffered memory loss.

This is surveillance photo taken of Lauren on the night she disappeared.

Easter Weekend

My Easter consisted of a much needed 3-day weekend.

Thursday night I did a whole lot of nothing and it was incredible. Just hung out with my nephew, ate mass amounts of Popeyes (I know, I know) and just relaxed.

Friday, I gots my hair did, finally got my eyebrows waxed (those dang things were going on 5-weeks, AHHH!), ran all my errands and babysat for the remainder of the day because my little monkey wasn't able to go to daycare since he was sick.

Later that night we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for a bite to eat and to catch up with some family. We were supposed to go downtown Friday night, but my nephew had to go to the hospital so I just wasn't in the right mindset to go out anymore.

Saturday, my boyfriend and I went shopping & had a delicious lunch on the patio at Bahama Breeze. Then, of course, hung out with my nephew for a few hours!

He tried on my boyfriend's hat. How perfect is he?
Later that day my Mom, Sister, Nephew and I all drove up to St. Augustine to spend Easter with some of our family.

My night consisted of a midnight jeep right on the beach, vodka/h20, trying to assemble my Easter basket and being kept up all night because my nephew WOULD NOT sleep. It's OK, he's worth it.
My 1AM, alcohol induced Easter basket. Before you see how horrible it looks, let me point out that I had way too many items for this small basket so it's just all piled on top of each other. You can't even see all the fun goodies.
Landyn's favorite - the mini basketball hoop, no surprise there! My little man got 4 Easter baskets this year, pretty popular fella!
After eating a delicious breakfast concoction that my Uncle made, it was time to find the Easter eggs! Landyn loved this. I was rather surprised at how much he enjoyed finding them.
 My sister, Landyn and I
 My world
After all that, Landyn got his first ride in 'DA JEEP' as we headed over to the inter-coastal to go paddle boarding.
My Mom, Sister, and I had never been so we were convinced we we were going to fall and come back soaked, hence the picture taken before I left.
Look at me go! It was so beautiful and relaxing to be out there on the open water!
My cutie pie
As I tried to paddle away from my second attempt, Landyn ran in the water and chased after the board because he wanted to come with me. After going once, I was practical a pro but I didn't want to get ahead of myself. This is me about to at least attempt it, but I quickly realized it wasn't going to work.
After a nice lunch out in the beautiful spring air, we headed back to Otown. The weather in Florida this weekend was perfect.  If only it could stay this way forever.

Last night, I had Easter dinner with Justin's family and finished up by watching the Master's. The entire time, I wanted Bubba to win but then starting feeling really bad for rooting against Louis. After seeing Bubba win, I'm SO glad it was him!

How was your Easter weekend? I'd love to hear!

Call Me Maybe

I'm SO obsessed with this video.

Yes, I'm aware that the people in it are children compared to myself, but I can't help but have so much fun when watching it.

Way better than the actual video for this song.

I mean, what were they thinking?

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Join us over at Jamie's blog for What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving that we are going to Olive Garden on our lunch break today. I've been craving their soup and breadsticks for far too long!

This little treat looks tasty, too!

I'm loving that I'm going to St. Augustine this weekend to visit family and celebrate Easter there.

I'm loving that I'm taking my GRE on April 26th. I know it sounds horrible but I'm pretty sure I'm going to do terrible. I started looking over some stuff and it's just not stuff that I feel like I'm going to be able to master in a few short weeks. To be honest, I know I'm not going to dedicate enough time as I should to it, but hopefully I surprise myself. I either get in or I don't. Not stressing.

I'm loving that I signed all my paperwork yesterday to make it official.
I'm loving that this Friday will be my first paid holiday off at work :)

I'm loving that we have decided that we're going to New Orleans from June 1-4. May & June are going to be busy months for me - without a doubt!

I'm loving that with a few accessories these dresses could be adorbs!

I'm loving this top that Emily Maynard is wearing for her promo photos. Let's face it, I'm loving e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g about Emily. Only a few more weeks until her premiere. She deserves happiness.

Well that's what I'm loving this week. What are YOU loving?

Help Find Us!

I'm not sure if I have expressed my passion for looking into missing persons cases, particularly children. But, I decided to start dedicated a post to that very subject every once in awhile. It truly breaks my heart to think of what these people have endured and what their families must be going through.

Here are just a few of the many people that are currently missing.

1.) Jennifer Kesse

She went missing on January 24, 2006 from my hometown Orlando, FL. From what the evidence shows, she simply vanished after getting ready for work in the morning. Her car was gone but was captured on a surveillance camera being dropped off in a neighboring apartment complex the same day she went missing.

These are the only two photos that the surveillance camera captured.

BOTH of them are covering, what I believe to be, the perpetrators face. Lucky break for him, but so unfortunate for everyone searching for her. There are no leads in the case and it's been six long years since her family has heard her voice.

2.) Sierra Lamar

This gorgeous high school student was last seen leaving for the bus stop near her California home on March 16 at 7:15AM. Unfortunately, her mother didn't report her missing until 5PM after the school emailed her to let her know that Sierra hadn't shown up that day.
One day after her disappearance, police found her phone a mile from her house and 2-days after, they found her purse with her clothes folded neatly inside. A few days ago they found a box of handcuffs and used condoms near where she was last seen, but, at this time, they are unsure if it is in anyway related to the case.

3.) Haleigh Cummings

According to her father's girlfriend, Missy Croslin, 5-year old Haleigh disappeared in the middle of the night from her home on February 10, 2009 in Satsuma, Florida. Haleigh's father's girlfriend turned wife during the investigation has given conflicting stories about what happened that night, so it's hard to trust anything she says. Croslin's grandmother says that Croslin confided in her that they tied Haleigh up with a yellow rope and a brick block and dropped her into the St. John's River.

Unfortunately, I believe that Haleigh is no longer with us but she deserves to be found and laid to rest properly and her killers deserve to be punished.

If you have any information regarding the disappearances of these people, please call the crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.

If that was an extremely upsetting post, I apologize. I just feel like touching on this subject every once in awhile and getting these stories out to as many people as possible is extremely important in finding missing people.
