What I'm Loving Wednesday :)
Since my weekend post was sidetracked due to Titanic & VDay. I'll be mixing in today with what I loved this weekend as well :)
I loved that Friday night we went to the best Japanese Steakhouse on the Universe, Kobe. I truly feel sorry for anyone that doesn't have a Kobe in their city. It's the best Hibachi I've ever had. In Orlando, EVERYONE goes for their birthday. I don't know what started it, but it's been tradition for myself and many others (of all ages) for at least 7 years.
While we were there the waiter accidentally brought 2 Chardonnay's. And, since I was the only one drinking it, he doubled mine :)
I'm loving that on Sunday we went to a babyshower and played a few games. I won the first game and Justin won the second. We're still waiting to hear on who won the birthday, length, weight, etc.. but I think I've got that in the bag as well.
The game I won was guessing how many little sweet tart baby pops were in this bottle. Of course I wasn't dead on, but I was the closest.

I had a picture of both of us with our prizes, but I'm not sure where that went. Justin won the game where you can't say baby. Justin, like most guys, had never been to a baby shower, so any competition he could find, he was there. He created conversations just to get someone to say it. Well he ended up with more than triple than anyone else. I think he had around 30 pins. That's my boy :)
I'm loving that I got my bathing suits in the mail. I'm not loving that one of them is the cheeky hipkini bottom and they are way too little for being on display. I hope I can take them back to VicSec and then just order another style. I sure they don't make me ship them back and ship new ones.
I'm loving that I got these beauties delivered to work yesterday. Justin had to work last night so he figured sending 2 dozen roses would hold me over until our celebratory dinner this evening.
Which brings me to my next point...
I'm loving that we're celebrating Valentine's Day tonight. He wanted to try something different and go to a place called Plaza Park Gardens
Looks gorgeous, right? Problem is, I can't find one thing on the menu that I could even pretend to like. I always feel bad because I know he likes to take me to nice places, but my taste buds always ruin the experience.
To play it safe, he offered to take me to my favorite restaurant, Bonefish.
Now this sounds more like a good time to me
What to do, what to do. I just feel like spending over $100 on dinner for something I'm not going to eat is not worth it. I'd rather him save that money and eat something I love. On the other hand, I wish I could be less difficult and have taste buds like him. He will eat anything, literally. Decisions decisions...
I'm loving that today should be the day that I get my taxes back. I heard they were a week behind so I'm crossing my fingers!
And that, my friends, is what I'm loving today :)
I LOVE Kobe! We have one within walking distance of work so we go there all the time. :)
ReplyDeleteStopping by from WILW: My advice? Go for the restaurant you like, or another fancy one where you can find something to eat. That way you can enjoy yourself and not be worrying about the money he's wasting (and not be hungry!)
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday!
Such GREAT things to love! What definitely have a sweet man! Did you decide to go to that nice restaurant? (it does look beautiful!)
ReplyDeleteAnd seriously, how gorgeous are you?!
