The Ship of Dreams

I had a different post prepared for tonight, but I saw Titanic on and I haven't been able to think straight since it started.

Can you blame me? This is what I've been looking at

I can't honestly say I'm upset about it.

The only problem I have is that every time I see this movie, I can't help but wish that it would end differently. I want Jack to live in the end. I feel like it was all for nothing.

For whatever reason, I've always been oddly obsessed with the story of the Titanic. And right when the movie started, I realized that come April, it will be exactly 100 years since the Titanic sank.

In Orlando, we have a place called Wonder Works. It has all kinds of neat things to see and do. They have a tank of water for you to put your hand in to feel what the water was like on that night. My hand can't even stand it in there for longer than a few seconds, I can't imagine what those people felt like that night.

Well now that I've thoroughly depressed myself, I'm going to hit up a few games of Scramble with Friends and lay down.

  2. i love that movie and the end always depresses me too...the Titanic stuff is so interesting but depresses me as well...especially that couple that wouldn't part and died together on the ship.

  3. One of my fave movies, ever! I'm SO excited to go see it in 3D! I don't like that Leo dies but I've always felt happy at the end because she joins him after she passes away.
